Terms and Conditions
All-Weather Event
New Year’s Eve aboard Tweed Eco Cruises is an all-weather experience. The cruise will operate in rain and variable weather conditions where it is safe and appropriate to do so. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and bring suitable outerwear.
Safety & Severe Weather
The safety of our guests, crew and vessel is our highest priority. For safety reasons, Tweed Eco Cruises reserves the right to modify, delay, shorten, relocate or cancel the cruise where weather or river conditions are deemed unsafe. This may include, but is not limited to, electrical storms, extreme winds, flooding, hazardous river conditions or other severe weather events.
The final decision regarding the operation of the cruise will be made by the Tweed Eco Cruises skipper and management team.
If the cruise must be cancelled entirely by Tweed Eco Cruises due to unsafe conditions, ticket holders will be offered either:
· A transfer to an alternative date or experience, subject to availability; or
· A refund of the ticket price, excluding any third-party booking fees where applicable.
Flood Watch & River Safety
If an official flood watch, warning or other advice from the relevant authorities determines that the Tweed River is unsafe for vessel operations, and Tweed Eco Cruises is required to cancel the cruise as a result, all ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket price, excluding any third-party booking or processing fees where applicable.
Fireworks Viewing
The New Year’s Eve cruise is scheduled to provide guests with an opportunity to view the 8pm fireworks at Twin Towns from the water.
While every effort will be made to provide the advertised viewing experience, fireworks visibility cannot be guaranteed due to weather conditions, river conditions, operational requirements, changes to fireworks programming or other circumstances outside the control of Tweed Eco Cruises.
Event Changes & Rescheduling
Tweed Eco Cruises reserves the right to alter the cruise itinerary, departure time, duration, vessel, inclusions or other event details where reasonably required due to safety, operational requirements, weather, river conditions, supplier availability or circumstances outside our control.
If the event is rescheduled by Tweed Eco Cruises, ticket holders may:
· Transfer their ticket to the rescheduled date, subject to availability; or
· Receive a refund of the ticket price, excluding any third-party booking fees where applicable.
Refunds & Guest Cancellations
Tickets are eligible for a 50% refund if cancelled on or before 7 days.
Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable.
Failure to attend, late arrival, change of mind or inability to attend due to personal circumstances does not qualify for a refund.
Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another guest if you are unable to attend. Please notify Tweed Eco Cruises in advance and provide the new guest’s full name and any other required booking information.
Arrival & Departure
Guests must arrive at the designated departure location at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time to allow sufficient time for check-in and boarding.

The vessel will depart at the scheduled time and cannot be held for late arrivals. Guests who arrive after departure may be unable to board and will not be eligible for a refund.
Please allow additional travel time on New Year’s Eve due to increased traffic, road closures and congestion around the Tweed and Twin Towns area.

The cruise itinerary and duration may be adjusted at the discretion of the skipper due to weather, river conditions, vessel operations, safety requirements or other unforeseen circumstances.
Guests acknowledge that the cruise is a moving vessel experience and that the exact route, viewing position and time spent in particular locations may vary.
The skipper has ultimate authority over the operation of the vessel and may alter the route, itinerary or operation of the cruise where reasonably required for the safety and wellbeing of guests, crew or the vessel.
Food & Beverage
The experience includes grazing-style food and drinks as specified in the event inclusions.
Guests are asked to advise Tweed Eco Cruises of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment due to the preparation and handling of food onboard.
Food and beverage inclusions are subject to availability and may be substituted with a suitable alternative where required.
Guests are not permitted to bring their own food or alcoholic beverages onboard unless specifically authorised by Tweed Eco Cruises.

Pets & Animals
Pets and animals are not permitted onboard unless they are an approved assistance or guide animal, or prior approval has been provided by Tweed Eco Cruises.

All guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, crew members and the vessel.

Tweed Eco Cruises reserves the right to refuse boarding or remove a guest from the vessel where their behaviour presents a safety risk, is disruptive, abusive, intoxicated or otherwise inappropriate.

Guests attend the experience at their own risk and acknowledge that participation involves being onboard a moving vessel and travelling on the water.
