At Tweed Eco Cruises, we are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Below is detailed information about each of our vessels and their accessibility features.

1. Captain Bill’s Explorer (CBX)

Captain Bill's Explorer is the largest vessel in our fleet, accommodating groups of up to 95 passengers. It offers panoramic views of the Tweed River’s natural beauty, making it ideal for both intimate and larger group cruises.

Accessibility Features:
  • Boarding and Disembarking: Equipped with a stable ramp for easy and secure access on and off the boat.
  • Seating: Features accessible/interchangeable seating arrangements and designated spaces for wheelchairs.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available with grab bars for added support. Please note that space may be limited for some mobility aids.
  • Communication Aids: Clear visual aids for safety briefings and written copies of our commentary in multiple languages are available.

Additional Notes:
  • The downstairs level is accessible with a walker, manual, and electric wheelchair.
  • The bar is accessible but located at standing level.
  • The toilets are marine bathrooms, accessible with a walker but not with a wheelchair.
  • The upstairs deck is only accessible by stairs.

2. The Golden Swan  

The Golden Swan is a charming and versatile vessel, known for its elegant design and comfortable cruising experience. It is ideal for both small and mid-sized groups.

  • Boarding: Equipped with a stable ramp for smooth and secure boarding and disembarking.
  • Seating: Includes accessible seating options and areas designated for wheelchairs.
  • Restrooms: Marine bathrooms equipped with grab bars. Please note that space may be limited for larger mobility aids.
  • Communication: Provides clear visual aids for safety briefings and written commentary available in multiple languages.

  • Seating: Includes accessible seating options and designated areas for wheelchairs.
  • Restrooms: Equipped with grab bars for added support. Space may be limited for larger mobility aids.
  • Communication: Safety briefings are delivered with clear visual aids, and written commentary is available in multiple languages.

Additional Notes:
  • VIP1 is not accessible for guests with mobility challenges due to its current design and layout.

Accessibility: Not accessible.


5. Office

Accessibility: Accessible via ramp.
