Ange SAwesome day on the Tweed River. Really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff - a really great experience. I’m a local and took my parents who were visiting - I learnt a lot about the area which was really cool! The local dolphins came and played off the bow of the boat - including a little baby. We had pelicans fly alongside us for ages, and saw rare eagles further down the river. Super special! The lunch was really lovely with all the local produce too. Overall a great day, would recommend and would do again 👌🏻

Renee BimroseI celebrated my birthday on Tweed Eco Rainforest Cruise today and I had the most amazing time. The captain’s commentary was funny and incredibly informative, we are so lucky to have the most diverse animals here in the tweed. I was so impressed at the fact that all the food was sourced locally we had so much food the prawns were so sweet and fresh. The boat was charming and the day was relaxing. I couldn’t recommend a better way to catch up with friends and loved ones then a lunch cruise with Tweed Eco Cruises. Thanks so much Team you guys are amazing.

John O'Brien38 members, family & friends from the Kedron Wavell RSL Sub Branch had the absolute pleasure of enjoying relaxing & enjoying a two & half hour Tweed River cruise with Tweed Eco Cruises on Wednesday the 21st of May 2025. The crew on the Golden Swan, with the skipper Eric, along with Allana & Greg, made our time cruising past Ukerebagi Island, Fingal Heads, Chinderah, plus Dodds Island & Stotts Island & truly memorable experience. Once we reached the area around Stotts Island, we were treated to a wonderful experience from Allana, who fed the numerous range of birds in the eco-friendly Tweed River area. I must also commend Eric for his detailed commentary during our Tweed River cruise, job well done 👏 It is truly amazing how the various ranges of wildlife birds go about survival in the wonderful surrounds of the Tweed River. It is definitely worth witnessing nature at its best 👌 Another highlight was seeing Mt. Warning in the distance as you cruised along the Tweed River. Mt.Warning is such an outstanding landmark in this area of NSW. We were treated to a most satisfying lunch, which included prawns straight off the trawlers, & a platter which included an assortment of freshly produced local produce. The vessel that we cruised on was the Golden Swan, a beautiful boat that dates back to 1972, was like walking down memory lane, very nostalgic. A little bit of information about Tweed Eco Cruises (TEC) is that it is a second-generation family owned & operated business with a fleet of four vessels. This family business supports Eco tourism & local suppliers. Tweed Eco Cruises is located at 2 River Terrace, Tweed Heads NSW 2485. Everyone from Kedron Wavell RSL Sub Branch was most impressed by the staff who made our day out on the Tweed River one of the best days. A big thank you, everyone at Tweed Eco Cruises, keep up the excellent work of suppoting Eco tourism & local suppliers.

Rob CoulsonAn extremely enjoyable cruise. A great welcome on board with coffee and nut loaf. Then a very enjoyable lunch of large prawns, meats, cheese, fabulously fresh bread, relish and sliced fruit. The Captain gave us an excellent commentary on the history of the river as well as current features of it. The bird feeding at the half way mark was a real highlight, even though we couldn't get as many species attracted as usual, due to a house boat being in the way. I would highly recommend this cruise for everyone, as a relaxing and enjoyable few hours on the Tweed River.
